Aida Spahic

AidaAida is a Criminal Defense Attorney from Detroit, MI. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology with specialization in Law, Crime, and Deviance. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, during which time she interned at the Legal Aid and Defender Association, Inc. and for Hon. Virginia M. Morgan at the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and worked as an American law professor at the Faculte de Droit et de Science Politique in Clermont-Ferrand, France.

Aida specializes in criminal defense, where she has assisted clients in achieving Not Guilty verdicts and reducing sentencing and jail times. As a Detroit Criminal Defense Attorney, she is no stranger to injustice. And as a war refugee who has experienced genocide and ethnic-cleansing growing up in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Aida possesses a skill that many other attorneys do not, and that is the ability to empathize and personally connect with individuals who are struggling against injustice.
